Zhelevs have bred broilers for 12 years till 1992, starting with 10 000 birds in a growing building in Draganovo village near Dobrich town, later on they became tenant farmers and bred 50 000 one-month-old chicken for the Chicken Combine in Donchevo, which permitted them to build a farm of their own for 10 000 broilers in Stozher village.
